Actual Video of the Trek

Saw some amazing footage on Youtube of the Trek, video of the horses pulling wagons in this video... I video taped an interview of two women that were on the Trek, and it was just a surreal experience to see this video after hearing their stories in person...There are several videos on there in this series, they will come up as related videos as you watch one.

Remarkable footage. A terrible and pivotal chapter in our breed's history.

The remains of the castle Schloebitten are a sobering reminder of what once was, and the Count's actions on behalf of his people are a shining example of how an honorable man acts - even in the midst of the most horrific circumstances.

Thank you, Christina for sharing. Everyone should watch these clips, then go hug your descendents of the brave animals that survived the Trek to the West.
