While we are in the opposite season to most of you guys. Here is the only foal I had this year, a lovely colt by the Anglo Arab Alexanderschante who was classified in 2007 out of Liebelei who is 22.
Arriving early on 4th November 2007


Winning Reserve Youngstock at NZ Grand National Show at 2 months old.


He was top 5 derivative youngstock at the NZ Arabian Nationals at 3 months old. Big thanks to my friend Michelle Z who leads him out (I have his mum)

He is a very handsome colt.  Was he born outside and if so, did you plan it that way?  Congratulations on his win!  Cheesy

Yep everyone is foaled outside Smiley
We watch from a distance and just let them do their thing. But that is the way the majority of mares are foaled out in New Zealand.

Wow, that is a really great photo of the mare foaling!!!!!!!!  Even my husband thinks it's completely cute & classic!!!!!!!
