Congrats to Hana Keller of Sullivan, WI. Her PSB mare, Our Finest Hour xx foaled a chestnut colt sired by Blitz Und Donner, I believe they are going to name this handsome fellow, On Donner, and are still playing with the barn name!!! I was so thrilled to see this colt, as I had suggested the breeding to him after I saw Blitz und Donner at a show. He has excellent legs and joints, great shoulder and a beautiful balanced body. I know Blitz und Donner has many great quailities, though my favorite on him is his legs, joints, hooves- they are beautiful. This mare also has very good limbs, joints and hooves...this should be an outstanding colt.
Kellers are very happy with their new bundle of joy and (Gem) Our Finest Hour xx is thrilled to be a moma again!

*I posted this thread because this is a nice colt (I only had 2 pics of him so far), though more so because it has been very exciting and encouraging to watch someone so young blossom into a Trakehner handler & breeder***[/color]
He is a nice sized colt, very friendly, balanced in body, good neck connection, beautiful legs and has good Trakehner type to him.
Below is On Donner's 1/2 sister o/o PSB mare, Our Finest Hour xx by Karino's Fire from 2005: She is a good producing mare and loves being a momma. Hana presented her mare, Our Finest Hour xx in 2005, when Hana was 13.
Now, Hana is 16, and has already bred two Trakehners and has been showing her PSB TB mare, and her 2005 filly, she wrote an article for the ATA magazine,(being published in an up coming article) and has hosted and inspection. She's off to a terrific start as a breeder, and as a trainer/instructor, as she has started 3 horses under saddle and given lessons to some fellow 4-H students. She is a highly motivated student, artist, musician and equestrian. Look forward to watching her and On Donner grow together, though even more to watching her grow as a sporthorse owner & breeder! Beyond all of her accomplishments, she is a wonderful person with a great family that backs her dreams!

Opps, here is the one of Hana and her gals.
Took this picture last year when Hana was 15, I don't remember
how old Gem is there, though One Geminis Fire by Karino's Fire is 2 there.
Yes, On Donner, he is a *looker*, and not only a very stylish colt,
he is a strong baby! Can't wait to see him
showing! He's excellent! It was a great asset to American Trakehner breeders that David brought him to the USA.

And Hana (then age 12) riding Our Finest Hour bareback in 2004 when she started following her passion towards Trakehners.

Lovely foals - congratulations to Hana and Gem.
On a separate note, thanks to you, Christina for being such an enthusiastic proponent of the breed and encouraging a young person to breed the finest sport horses in the world!
Keep us updated on Gem, Hana and On Donner! (Great name!)
