What a great morning!!!
Ella did another great job giving us a
beautiful filly by Karino's Fire.  Just as
before, right on time and at 3:30 a.m.
She's a fabulous mom.  Baby is amazing,
and what a lovey gal, a real people horse
right away.  I'm too excited for words, so
I'll just say it in pictures...

Well Karinos Fire has outdone himself yet again as a sire.  What a beautiful girl.  Not to take anything away from her dam, but Karinos Fire does seemto put hus stamp on his foals.

Thanks for the info on the foals.  I thought I'd seen a lot of bling in there. 

Also especially interested in the increase in bone size you mentioned he throws.  I seriously am thinking about breeding my Mustang mare to him next year for endurance toy #2, because I am thrilled so far with endurance toy #1 by an Arab stallion, and he wasn't even by an endurance specialist, more a jack of all trades.  I do really want to get into this sport.  But bone is one of her weak points; I spent months picking a stallion to try to counteract that for ET #1.  She is a metallic chestnut herself, with an apostrophe, no socks. 

Yes, I'm starting to think of my 2010 foals, while my 2009 models aren't quite in the oven yet (the Traks will be bred first week of July).  You have to always look forward in this business.   Smiley

Congrats on your beautiful babes too!  So happy you have that filly out of Alabama, she is a neat mare & it is great that she has another girl to carry on her and Wicklow's bloodlines.

We are just so happy that Hope is finally here~  I so enjoy being there when they arrive...so I lost some sleep watching the monitor a few nights. 

She's so enjoyable to be around, more indepent of mom than Faith was, seeking out people for company all the time, and Ella is pretty tolerable of it.  Here are the traditional 3 day photos! {I deleted some of the 1st photos to add these newest ones}

Well, I wish I could say Josh took these ones, though I'm guilty there.    He is very good and got some great photos of the cats playing the other day, though it is hard to shoot pictures when your laughing so hard!

Here are some photos at 1 week old, again, I will delete old ones as I add new ones. Even if Josh didn't take these ones,
he has taken some excellent photos.  He's been a great help to me with the horses and with the younger children.  I'm blessed to have such a helpful, talented son.

Oakstable,
You can add a softening, or what I call "wedding photo effect"
traditionally by adding a diffuse filter to your lens when taking the photo, (these are available at your specialty camera stores) or you can edit the photo in software such as Adobe, and under effects chose diffuse glow.  You can add a specific amount of glow to add a dreamy effect, and before I had the software and digital camera  I used several filter systems to get different effects on my photos at weddings etc.  I am an amature photographer, I'm sure Pam N. would have more information on filters etc...  I just point and shot until I get lucky!!!  Wink

We don't breed every season, we'll have to wait and see if Amazing Love ever becomes a reality.  I do know that this is simply the sweetest foal ever, and she is very people oriented.  Hope is a great pal, Jim believes she & I have bonded already....yes, I believe he's right, she's my pal, I look forward to snuggling with her, brushing her and taking her outside everyday.  All I can say, is they are worth the wait Cool
