Hi all,

I decided to post some pictures of our dressage training. Please be kind with comments as we are both learning together.

Confinement, or restriction of movement of any kind, is contrary to the horse's nature - after all, he is a creature who is used to running free, moving at will and who equates restriction of any kind to danger.

Looks like the horse is in front of your leg, rhythmic and good contact. I'm a very novice rider myself. I know one thing my instructor would say "elbows, elbows, elbows' Undecided

Good job and nice horse.

Thank you for both comments, it is very encouraging and makes me want to work harder at achieving perfection *sigh*.

WWF, yes the elbows  Undecided ...lol...that's one of the many things I have to work on as my head is spinning in all things we need to do in training. I worked on my leg position and thankfully that came along! 1 down and 1001 more to go!!!

ACOTTONIGIM, aha, yes, the long sleeves..well, that's good 'ol Montreal, Quebec for ya! We've had some great really warm sunny weather and now we're back to that hateful cold for a couple of days. The only upside I see, is that the bugs aren't around  Smiley
