I love Trakehners!

He is here! Our "bonus" foal arrived this morning at 8:00. He is just lovely and sweet and doing fine.
It was a tough delivery - hip lock, geez. But, mom and baby are good.
I will try to post a picture, I hope it works! It is not working - I will try again.

OMG Stacey! Got your email and he is BEAUTIFUL!! Congrats on your bonus baby! I know that you are just thrilled and relieved to have him safely on the ground. Make sure you send photos or post them when he is up and bouncing around!!

Congratulations! Most people have to wait 11 months to see what they have; your sneaky little boy only kept you waiting 3 months. Sounds like he made a dramatic entrance though. Happy to hear Mom and baby are doing fine now. He probably did that to pay you back for all the bouncing around he got before you realized he was on the way.

Congratulations Stacey!! If once person deserves such a beautiful baby, it's you! I'm so happy it all worked out fine.
Kim, C'est Bon is a bay, actually quite dark bay and has so far only produced dark foals, no chestnuts, at least from what I saw at Sommerlade.

Thank you Anissa for posting the photo - I do not know why I can never get that down.
We just love our little Bo! He is a smoky black with silver legs rigth now - very interesting color. So, he will either stay this smoky/silver color or turn all black.
He is sweet as pie and they are both thriving.

C'Est Bon's pedigree reads like a who's who in the Trakehner world. Why does it say "Magritte" above the pedigree? I know that's not Magritte's pedigree. With the combo of Hof Dame and C'Est Bon in this colt, he should be a spectacular stallion! And color to boot! Boy, can Maren lead you in the right direction or what.

We had to send Bo (High Light) to greener pastures late last night. He had a terrible colic. He was such a sweet and wonderful colt and we had such high hopes for him.
God speed Baby Bo, we were happy for our 2 years together.
