Entered two year old stallion in show -- this Friday.
So the self-destruct mode was activated. He cast himself in his stall -- banged up his hocks, the entire joints swelled, swelling starts to go down. Goofball casts himself again -- more swelling in hocks,. The hocks were really swollen with golf balls on the tips. As the hocks go down they start to look like capped hocks. They are sore, very soft and some fluid in them. I've been using cold water and DMSO to reduce the swelling. Any other suggestions?
He is staying outside now, better dirty with a little hair than this stuff. -- Of course outside he plays with the other boys and someone rakes a hoof down his spine -- He looks like something the cat dragged in.
Thanks for any suggestions. Eileen
