Resin Horses

Has anyone ever encountered someone making a resin horse and naming it after your horse? It came to my attention that someone had made a resin horse of Karino's Fire and painted it totally different, though it still resembles him in a picture I have of him jumping. Just thought that the whole thing was a bit odd, I find it hard to believe that there are two Trakehners out there named Karino's Fire.

I don't know what your legal rights are, but it is a great promotional opportunity if you convince them that they should modify the color to match your boy and provide a link to your site! Grin

I just followed the link and it's a dead end. Does that mean they realized they'd trodden on your legal rights?

I did email them about it, so maybe they thought they could copy names/breeds without permission? Huh
