I love Trakehners!

I made a recent video of my 4 year old stallion Pacific if anyone wants to see what we are up to. He's feeling happy in his work, and is so much fun to ride. Although I seem to have lost our trot at the moment. (could be because he's an inch bum high??) I plan to show him lightly this year, that IS the plan anyhow we'll see how things go. I'm moving him into my trainer's barn in May for full training to get us moving along. Anyhow, here we are.....

okay.....apparently I need lessons bad as I had some things pointed out to me (all in good constructive ways, except from one lady who made me feel REALLY bad! LOL!)
If anyone wants to give me some tips.......feel free. As I said, I haven't had any lessons in quite some time, and have been going about this on my own with him. I do realize that he is not using himself behind and not stretching through his topline, and that he is too rushed in the rythym and I have him too tight in his frame.....We do go into full training in May though cause I do need it, I know it! Just be somewhat nice to me if you do comment please! LOL! I'm no pro!

oh sorry you guys, I just noticed this thread had been brought back up. I DO have brand new videos of Pacific. One of him at his very first jumper schooling show doing a course and one of me schooling him in my dressage lesson. I don't have them up on youtube yet though, I should have them up within the week, I'm having issues uploading them as I have a new camera and video program, so I've been tinkering around with that. I'll put the videos up as soon as I can and I'll let you know. He's changed A LOT since the last set of videos went up. I can't wait to show him this year, he is a whole lot of fun!
