I thought some of you might enjoy this. Lots of horses you know like Biotop and Blesk and Oskar are mentioned.

Also, many photos.

I know this is an old post, but thank you very much as I have recently translated my Russian Traks bloodlines. This was interesting

The main old-Trakehner lines that have proven most worthy at stud are the Pilger and Pythagoras lines. Both of them are highly valued not only in Russia but also throughout the world.

My mare has Pilger on sire line and Pythagaros on mare lines. So thanks very much, I am grinning from ear to ear

talking about the old P line, just seen on ewarmblood that a Poprad daughter is offered free to a good retirement home:

cant afford another horse for now, but I would have given her her last home in a heartbeat...  Cry

I saw this posing.  I would love to have her in my herd, but she is located on the east coast while I live in CA.  Hope she finds a loving environment to reward with her last born kids.  Kiss

She is living with me in North Carolina quite happily, babysitting a weanling.  Depending on the body condition I can get on her, I might try to breed her next spring.  She is a very sweet girl and I love having her here
