Again, I think it's good advice to have a long talk with the stallion owner. My circumstances caused me to take 3 years to use the season I got at auction but the stallion owner was very understanding. It's not always contractual as much as relational. Steve+
Some awesome looking stallions, but I'm still using my 2007 auction breedings (bad mares!). I seem to be on an every-other-year plan, although I don't remember signing up for it. Hopefully I'll be in the bidding again next year.

I've been meaning to put a plug in for 2 of my local stallions, Ichi Ban and Arlington. I have a 2 yo gelding by Ichi out of a TB mare and he is a lovely, sweet cooperative guy who will get started this spring. The same mare had an Arli filly last summer (for someone else) and she is lovely. They are thrilled with her and she looks just like Dad. They are both lovely guys and way under-used (Washington isn't that far away!) If you would like to see foal photos they are on the Blessed Fields website.
