The title says it all... I was looking at Showmaster (Grand Prix stallion from Kostolany) but someone gave me the tip to look at his full brother Sanssouci. Any comments?

Showmaster is a Grand-Prix horse, and a candidate for the Elite status. That may explain his more expensive stud fee. I think he was sold recently for an exuberant amount, and he is in sport. You can ask for more detail from Bernhard (bernhard.langels@t-online.de) or Beate Langels

Their dam the elite mare Shwalbenburg by Ibikus definitely did leave her mark behind in our breed. Her son by Arogno, Shwadroneur was Denmark's horse of the year. I beleive the Langels had another grandson of hers by Exclusiv out of Shamar by Enrico Caruso presented for grading this past October. You can read more about the line at their webiste, anything else I say will be redundant. Maybe Erhard or Maren could add more. Or contact the Langels directly. They are very friendly & easy to deal with. I think I have mentioned it before, I did buy a great grand daughter of Shwalbenburg (Sacre Coeur- Sacre Noir daughter) from them, and they were a pleasure to deal with. They will be breeding a Kostolany-Ibikus mare of mine to Shwadroneur in 2003.
