I totally agree! I gave up trying to look through the site. Maybe some big American organization ( ATA) could politely suggest it?

I waited for quite a while for them to do that, but finally gave up and learned German. I figured it would be faster.

We may get our wish . I went to the old verband website and it directed me to a new website and some of it is in ENGLISH!
Maybe they are going to make it bilingual .
Does anyone else know anything?

Sally-you're gonna have to walk me through that one--I tried my Verband site--and got the same old gibberish (i.e. German)

I went to www.trakehner-verband.de and it automatically directed me to www.trakehner-verband.org.
Right now most of it is in German, but if you scroll down you will see in English "Some pages under construction..." or something like that.
I took that to mean that they will be offering both languages. I mean why would they bother to put that in English if it is all going to be in German again ?
Just my thoughts,
Melissa

Sorry I couldn't remember exactly what was in English so I checked again.
It says,
Welcome to the Trakehner Verband! Some of the pages are currently under construction. Thank you for your patience!
Wouldn't it be great

It would, indeed--apparently I don't have the correct link to find the English--

Hi,
If I need a translation of a web page, I use Babel fish to do it. The link is: http://babelfish.yahoo.com/
You plug in the URL of the website, select the tanslation path - German to English - and submit. It will translate the page and all subsequent pages that you click on. Sometimes the translation is rough, but it is better than having to get a German dictionary out and try to translate it a word at a time.

Regards,
Pat Leech

Old post batman! LOL
If you go to the Verband site and click on the british flag (union jack) you go to the english version. It has been a month or two since I last went but I THINK that the entire site is now translated at least in the majority.
