Moving to Virginia

Hi,

We are moving from Georgia to Virginia this summer.  We have been fortunate enough to locate a house in Mathews County on the eastern coast.  I'm sure it's a long shot, but is anyone familiar with this particular area?  If so could you recommend farrier, vet, equine dentists, hay dealers, etc.  Any information would be much appreciated.

Thank you!

What a beautiful area you are moving to.  You will have no problem finding great farriers and vets.   The horse community surrounding you is huge so finding what you want and need should not be a problem.  Welcome to VA.

Thank you for the encouragement!  It is always a worry moving the horses & mules.  We are thinking that this is will be our last move - we are a military family - and we are very excited as we will finally have the animals on our own property.  Yippee!   Cool
