Trakehner Treffpunkt - Trakehner Meeting Place  |  Administrivia  |  Administrative Updates (Moderator: Boss Mare)  |  Topic: One more suggestion on the staying-logged-in issue 0 Members and 1 Guest are viewing this topic. « previous next » Pages: 1 Author Topic: One more suggestion on the staying-logged-in issue  (Read 826 times) Boss Mare Moderator FEI Offline Posts: 127 One more suggestion on the staying-logged-in issue « on: December 19, 2002, 10:11:57 PM » Well, the forums absolutely locked me out today.  I tried several things (deleting old cookies, substituting php files, etc.) to try to correct the problem, and ultimately what helped was to download a windows update (by clicking the "windows update" option on the start menu).  The link will scan your system automatically to tell you what things you can download for your system, and then you just grab the files and install them.  For the ones I got the system needed to be restarted, and when I did that and Windows had arranged itself with the new elements, my cookies worked again. Just a thought, but if you are on a Windows system and having the problem, it is something you may want to try.  BTW, I am running windows 98.
