I love Trakehners!

Ada (By Troy (Amiego *E* out of Traumfee) and out of Alouette *E* (by Tannenberg *E*, out of Abiza *E*)) FINALLY arrived home safe and sound last week.
She is a super sweet mare, and has settled in like she's been here her whole life! She is in foal to Hilton GS, and is due in early June. I've been told she's had 12 foals, but you'd never believe it to look at her.
I've attached a couple of pictures from her first day here. She has now been "re-introduced" to Alabama, and the two of them are like peas in a pod. In a week or so they will join the rest of the herd.

Congratulations on getting your new mare home! Kind of nice not having to wait 11 or so months for a new foal...almost like cheating when you only have 2 months to wait for a new baby!!!
I don't think there are too many Troy mares around. Looks like you have a nice mare! And I agree that she does have a very sweet face and expression.

Yes, I do feel like I am cheating a bit! I can't complain!
There aren't many Troy babies around, it is true. I am going to try to breed a couple of mares to him this season. He is one of those underused stallions, for sure. Donnerkeil is another one I'd like to have a look at in person...
