Curious, Huh Did MWT do anything in 2006?  Any news on 2007?  Are there still folks on the board that are members?

The last meeting of the MWT was in 2004. Nothing has happened since then. Frankly, I don't know why it hasn't been officially disbanded.

The timing on this thread is ironic.

Upon information and belief, I was the last dues-paying member of MWT (I had paid so I could administer the Awards program, but no other members paid in or submitted nominations for awards). Upon information and belief, Marcia Johnson was the last officer (Treasurer) with a vested interest in doing something with MWT (as she was saddled with maintaining the bank account).

We met in Arizona on March 11 and voted to dissolve MWT. As per the MWT bylaws, the assets of the organization will be donated to the American Trakehner Association. At the time of dissolution, the checking account balance was, I THINK (just going by memory), $2,033.15.

RIP MWT.
