I had hoped to get better photos of Pyxie, but getting this girl to stand still is pretty hard, and when I have a camera in hand, she wants to check it out. She's finally evened out--for now.  She doesn't look like much of a pixie now--but comparing her to other weanlings her age, she's still small--just 13 hands at 9 months.  She's so robust now, that it's hard to believe she had a hard time standing when she was first born.

I don't think 13 hands is small for her breeding.

Hey Joy,
I think she is a fair size for her age & breeding.  Shad's filly that is o/o Ella is 13.2 hh at 8 months, so Pixie is not that far behind her.  Faith was evened out, though, and now is rump high.  They all tend to grow so differently. Pixie looks so cute, I especially like her neck.
