Feeding the herd last night was nasty with blizzard conditions and snowing sideways. In this picture I'm going to share keep in mind I'm 5'7" and standing. Going to try and get out today. Airport is still closed suppose to open today. Mail also is suppose to show up for the first time in 2 days. It's been pretty peaceful the last two days and since I'm a software person I can work from home without interruption. Bit of a pain to care for the horses but all in all doable. The winter wheat farmers are celebrating after several years of no mositure this will certainly help them and the rest of us rural types are happy for any mositure on the front range. As Joy mentioned it will not stay all winter but since we are looking at a couple of days in the 30's looks like it may stay around longer then usual and we will have a white christmas. Blizzard conditions expected and maybe up to 20" more  This all on top of what still had not melted (maybe a packed 8") Thankful that the power is on and the horses are weathering the storm well.
