Hi TK friends,

What do you feed your babies - up to three years old?  What is the protein content/percentage?

Thanks!

I feed a good quality grass hay, vit/min supplement, probiotic, and a little bit of  grain (COB) or PGR (Dynamite pelleted grain ration).  I'm not all that concerned with figuring out the protein content as long as they are on a good hay and supplement and are growing and thriving.  My weanling filly is such a tank that I've had to cut back on grain so she gets about a handful.  She doesn't have a pot belly, is growing well, gets all the hay she wants, and regular supplements, and is still a TANK!
