This is one of the funniest things I've ever seen, but I suppose if I had a full barn of horses, I might think it more useful than amusing.  Roll Eyes As I now only have two to take care of--and in any case, my horses are free to come and go 24/7--I think this is hilarious!  I pass it on to you for your viewing pleasure.  And if anyone tries it, please let us all know.  Grin

I live in the deep south where my horses are 'fancy' for wearing rugs in winter.  I can only imagine the comments if they were rigged up in this contraption. . . . .could take years of counseling!!!  What a hoot!   Cheesy

That's insane!  I think I'd rather pick shavings than clean that thing.  That is, if I was able to pick shavings at the moment.  I'm finding it's awfully hard to find a teenager willing to make $50 shoveling out the lean-to.  Anyway I'm with  most of you folks - leave the horses naked and outide.
They stay halfway clean kept on sand.  And when they are filthy, sand brushes right out.

I agree, let's allow our noble steeds a modicum of dignity.

My mouth was open when I looked at this.  You have got to be kidding.  Did anyone else see rub sores all over the horse and sprained tendons etc from laying down, rolling, running and bucking with that thing on!!!!   Talk about "trappy"!!

The next thing you will see is horses wearing these in parades so that their "processed grass" does not soil the street!!

Who thinks this stuff up!  These must be the people who have to give their "badly behaved" dogs Prozac!!  Normal animal behavior is just not a part of their vocabulary.

By the way, I went shopping here in Woodland Hills, CA last night, (think reasonably upscale suburb of LA) and they had an entire store devoted to ..... pet clothing.  Not pet food, toys and supplies.... pet clothing!!!

Also, when I saw a co-worker at said mall last weekend, she had her dog with her (some tiny little thing a barn cat would eat) and it had FEATHERS glued onto its ears like they were ear rings!  It perfectly matched her fluffy bleached blond hair.....as if the dog were a fashion accessory!  I was proud of myself as I kept a straight face the whole time.... and went home and proudly mucked my own stalls.

One thing that also caught my eye was this one
"The opening for removing the contents is fantastic so much better than your competitors "plug" (we had these on trial at work - Victoria Police Mounted Branch - for a short time)"

Plug?  No...they couldn't mean... Shocked  Could they?
