A Sixtus son eh ? Well then, lets shed some light on this as I put on my thinking cap, and get out my Neumunster catalogues. Ok, We have : BUDDENBROCK, DONAUWALZER, KASPAROW, LAFAYETTE, PERON JUNIOR, SABARY, AXIS, and the newest addition FANDANGO. I'm also thinking SKATMAN a Rhineland-Pfalz approved stallion out of a tb mare was just recently approved as well? Maren will let us know about that one and any I have missed, I'm sure. At least this narrows the list down considerably. Whichever stallion it is, I'm sure Sherry will import an excellent opportunity for North American mare owners, but it appears that we will be getting some more badly needed jumping blood lines. So Sherry....... TEE HEE ? LOL

I'm very sorry to report that Skatman just died.
He was very young, and a brilliant rising star in the evnting world over here. He was branded Rhineland-Saar, but a full Trakehner, so als approved by Trakehners. He was by Sixtus out of Hot Angel xx by Navarro xx, a Madruzzo xx-son. So Skatman and WIndfall were very close relatives. Skatman was the champion stallion in RHeinland-Saar and was placed high at the National EVent Horse Championships, twice! Too sad he's gone so early.....
He collapsed in the indoor while running free and died of internal bleeding.

Okay--Fandango is by Sixtus out of FlotteII by Istanbul--Flotte II is out of Flocke IV by Catarakt out of a Donauwind mare. This is a whole new blood line for me--so I'm still just learning.
The only pictures I have of him were taken with a video while we were there--I'm working on getting some stills--He's big and as close to being black as a black/brown can be--the only white is a little touch on his left hind coronet band. He looks a great deal like his sire--at least in the head shots I have seen.

They will be shipping him as soon as the arrangements can be made. I would expect him to be out of Davis by the middle of Fedbruary--of course, you could always drive up to Davis with me to see him.
