I LOVE Trakehners!

I have such sad news to report. We had a beautiful black filly born early this morning. She was by our stallion KOUGAR von C out of Anieta by Virgil. Sadly, we lost her this morning. She was solid black, beautiful and perfect in every way...long legs, nice shoulder, full of promise.
So sad....thanks for listening.

Oh, Cindy...I am so sorry. That is one of my worst nightmares...God Bless you and your gorgeous filly. Too perfect for this world perhaps. I hope your mare is doing well. We'll be thinking of you.

Thank you all for your emails and phone calls.......I just needed a few comforting words yesterday from friends who understand.
The mare Anieta (Virgil - Insterruf) is doing very well. She never really bonded with the foal, so she is not having any anxiety or depression often common with this. A good thing for her.
