Excellent news from the Danish National Riding Horse Championships 2002:
For the third time in a row, the dark bay Hertug (by Schwadroneur) won the Nationals. He was Denmark's best 4 year old, 5 year old and now 6 year old dressage horse! Congratlations to Blue Hors Stud, who owns him.
In the 5year old division, the grey Matine by Silvermoon won another title for the Blue Hors Stud. In the division of the 4year olds, Zardin Firfod, approved son of the Trakehner Gribaldi, placed 3rd.
Another placing went to a son of Midwest Ibi, Danish approved stallion by Ibikus.
A very impressive record for Trakehner influence in modern Danish warmblood breeding!!

No, sorry Karim. He's not. He is a branded Danish warmblood, as his dam is Danish. He is not pure-bred Trakehner!
