Hey folks,
I have heard from 3 users who have had a difficult time staying logged in. Ironically, since the update my own computer has not had a problem with this, though it did before at times.
Unfortunately, the software developers have not provided a solution to this problem. We keep trying their suggestions, but so far no go.
In the interim, I have enabled guest posting for those of you who cannot stay logged in. As a guest poster, you have to fill in a name and an email address. Just to prevent abuse to the system by creepy non-Trak people who may want to make nasty postings, if you don't give a valid email address your post will be deleted (as will any nasty off-topic posts).
If your cookies work and you can stay logged in, do so, because then your signature line will work and you won't have to repeatedly enter your name and email address.
Sorry for this again, we will keep working on the issue. In the meantime, at least everyone can post.
And if anyone wants to keep guest posting enabled as a general forum policy, let's have a vote. Send your comments to webmaster@atrakehner.com.
I am sending this information out in an email to all members (all members who have provided valid email addresses, anyway....), so please pardon the redundancy.
