***I appologize in advance for gushing over  her...though she is so super sweet & lovey!***
We are very happy to announce that Karino's Fire & Baily Zippo produced a beautiful chestnut filly with *four* whites and a blaze. . There are some interesting white patches on her back, tail and legs, though we will have to see as she darkens if they are truly spots. She is just the sweetest little filly I have ever seen, immediately loves people and will happlily follow you around. She is a doll. We are so happy with the personalities that our boy is producing, all such sweethearts.
She is remarkable, and nearly identical to last year's first filly.
This was our first year with Baily, and though she had foaled four times before we purchased her, we had no idea what to expect with her foaling out. As we got to know her over the course of the year, Jim & I suspected that she truly was an old pro, and would 'hand deliver' us a beautiful, healthy baby~ & on time. She certainly did! We are blessed to have sweet broodmares.

Mom has started calling her "Grace, Grace with the beautiful face." Faith is very jealous of her....and anytime Grace is getting attention, Faith has to get in there too, as you can see:
Grace is very fond of playing in mud, and hard to keep clean, we just to pics of her for fun today, please ignore her mud, she loves it ...

"Grace, Grace with the beautiful face."~ I can still hear my Dad saying those words over and over to her. Dad passed away the August after she was born, though I still hear him saying that and playing with Grace in my driveway just after she was born. This weekend, almost five years exactly later, she was entered in and successfully completed her first Novice Competitive Trail ride, she came through it like a trooper, ridden by our 17 year old son, Josh. It was a special day, as I was riding Grace's half-sister, Faith, we had an absolutely beautiful ride, and I am so proud of Josh and how well he handled Grace. I'm blessed to have a son that is interested in riding with me
