More photos of Oskar babies
« on: May 20, 2006, 02:45:43 PM »

Joe had a filly born a couple of days ago.  He sent me photos of her, and antoher one of the little colt that was born to the Arab mare.  I combined them all on my webshots page so some of the photos have already been seen.

The new filly is a lot like her chestnut brother, but the movement is more extravagent according to Joe - she wouldn't cooperate by trotting alot, but apparently she will almost kick her belly with her hind legs when she trots!

She is out of an 1/2 Arab mare that is by Impressionist (this is the 2nd filly for an Oskar baby out of an Impressionist mare - this chestnut and the bay filly in my webshots.).

Very nice looking babies!  I wish he had a website so I could drool over pics of the dadies!  I'd really like to see more of both, especially Oskar!

I've been strongly considering breeding to Balkash, a Khokkey son approved for Canadian Trakehners.  I've recieved some excellent footage of him showjumping.  I believe he showed Grand Prix before being imported, as well as being schooled/shown?  Prix St. George in Dressage.  I just have to get up the guts to attempt frozen as he is now gelded.
