Foxwind's First Foal Arrived on St Patrick's Day

Well, he finally arrived a couple days behind "schedule". The lady of the hour is a lovely race bred Thoroughbred named Ria's Charm. She has successfully been producing performance babies for the race track and has now ventured into the sport horse world. Her owner, Jana, called me morning of the delivery to inform me that Ria delivered a huge dark colt (that will be turning grey) at 6:45, Mar 17. Baby was so big (133 lbs) that Jana had to assist a little, but the young man was up on all four within an hour and mom was very proud of the new arrival. Photos of the foal at 24 hours are posted on our website.

Hi Cindy, can't believe I missed this one.  Nice substancial fellow!  I look forward to pics of the rest of Foxwinds first crop!
