Taz's newest foal is a filly (yes, they're sure this time!). Mother is a Knabstrupper, a WB breed from Denmark with color patterns very similar to Appaloosa's.
Baby Tzarina is 18 days early, but healthy & strong with lots of spots.

She is a cutie, and it looks like Taz got his "spot" in too right there on her left side!

I usually don't like Knapstrupper's, the this girl's coloring is wonderful. Is the mare yours? Taz surely produces beautiful babies.

I never even knew what a Knabstrupper was until last year! No, the mare's not mine, but I'll meet her this weekend when I go see Tzarina. I'm not crazy about some of their color combinations (esp. the "pink" muzzle like the mother has), so was glad to see Taz's dark face & muzzle on the baby (we can cover up the rest w/a blanket!).

A breed I had only heard of on very rare occasion and had never seen. You are certainly right --- lots and lots and lots of spots!!
Congratulations!! More Taz babies--- proves Taz does a great job as a sire making beautiful babies!!
Congrats, again. Eileen
