We have a new addition. Our only foal this year by Feuertanzer out of Melissa by Tai-Pan out of Myrthe by Harnish. Born in the wee hours of the morning on April 7th. So much for that filly I was hoping for! However he has won me over with his good looks and charming personality. New pics farther down thead.

Thankyou all for the lovely comments. He's unfolded quite nicely. I replaced the earlier photo's with a couple of newer ones. Oh, I just love this time of year, babies are the best! Good luck to all of you who are still watching and waiting. Here's hoping you don't have too many sleepless nights.

Here are some updated photo's of Maestro taken at 1 month of age. The older he gets, the more I like him. At first I didn't think he was quite as good as last years colt Malone, but maybe! We lost Malone earlier this year.  RIP Malone, I hope Maestro turns out as nice as you were.

He's looking fabulous Alicia........hope he does turn out as nice or nicer than Malone! It is amazing how similar they look, even though the dams were different (though related).

He's gone. Maestro RS and his dam left this past Saturday morning for their new home near Niagra Falls. His new owner plans to raise him as a Stallion prospect for the Canadian registries as well as compete in the Canadian Performance Futurity and beyond.  I wish them the best of luck. Wow, do I ever miss having a foal around and it's only been 2 days. Hopefully I'll have some mares confirmed in foal soon so I have something to look forward to!

Ooooh, and he's only a couple of months old. That's a hard one. BUT, congratulations on your sale and I wish their new owner the best.
