I love Trakehners!

Does anyone recognize this mare ? Patience

I found this mare waiting to be destroyed (a meat auction) , she was blanketed, shod, mane pulled and read to show. This made no sense , as did the breed info on her coggins , a trakehner. She was listed as 8 yrs old (2-3 yrs ago) she is 17.2 and a grey. The info I have been able to track down is she was purchased from Il, or Pa show barn as a show horse for a JR rider for a show barn in Mi. The Jr. couldn't ride , so they bred her ,sold the foal in uetero ,for big $ and when she wasn't the perfect first time mom, told everyone she had been destroyed and dumped her at a meat auction. I am trying to trace her background ,she was shown,well schooled in dressage basics, and is a great mom.I would love to have enought info to be able to do DNA testing on her, so I can give the people who are getting her foals more info. Plus I would like to Know!!! So If you have heard of or seen a Patience Let me know . Thanks Julie Blair

Good for you helping out a Trakehner in need. I sincerely hope someone has some info that can help. Do you have any pictures?

So you rescued her?

Someone would leave a blanket on a horse they took to a meat auction?
