Thank you  EclypseSporthorses I have looked into them and sent off emails so we'll see what comes of it  Cheesy
Off the subject, I looked for another place just to show off new pictures but couldn't find one.  I wanted to share some of the newer photo's of Meshak so I'll put them here.  I don't know how to do a link to photobucket where I have the pictures, I just know how to paste them.  Sorry to take up more room, if you know how to do a link, can you let me know so I don't take up so much room on the forum for future pictures?  Well here they are, the light wasn't the greatest, but the shadowed look was interesting.  The one of Meshak and I is of his favorite hug.  Whenever he's done working or playing, he walks up and puts his head in my stomach for a hug.  When he's nervous, he'll put is nose to touch me and keep it firmly planted there until whatever it is proves to not be "horse eating"  Roll Eyes LOL.  I've had more than one person tell me to stop letting him do this as he's "invading my space and that puts him in a dominant position, but its worked so far without him ever doing anything other than asking for reassurance.  His reward and getting him to accept new scarey things.  He quits putting his nose on me when a situation isn't scarey to him anymore.

The fact that his head is droppped is a position of submissiveness.  Give him your reasurance and if he does not push you.... who cares.  I have a 3 year old who "huggs" with his neck.  I have only discouraged this because as he gets older, and is a sale prospect, it might be intimidating to someone who does not know him.

My 24 yo mare whom I lost in Jan used to follow me around the pasture and when I would turn, she would just "be there" with her head down, looking for a pat between the ears.  The first time I realized that she was looking for my approval, it shocked me, in later years, I saw it as proof of our bond.  Before she left me (due to an advanced sinus infection which was no longer treatable after 3 surgeries) I cherished this little behavior as a symbol of our relationship........ Just ENJOY!!!!
