Elazar is an approved Oldenburg stallion (ISR) and he has been 100 day tested and did well.  He is actually one of the few American bred traks to go through the 100 day test (here in the US- no flaming about German tests please).  That said, he is not an approved Trakehner stallion.

I do have a 3 yo gelding by him.  He passes on size and temperament (big and easy).  His mare line was fabulous and I owned a half sister to him which is why I went to him.  I wanted Laiken and chose the mare line from the existing stallions that I knew of.

That said, we now have a nice influx of approved jumping lines to choose from so have fun and good luck.

The Laiken son in Florida, a grey,  is quite popular in the hunter world.   I talked to the owners at one point about presenting him, and they weren't much interested.  It's unfortunate that these bloodlines are being lost, but who's to say the stallion would have been approved anyway?

Alicia,
Thank you for your response.  In my research, I just noticed Horalas also.  He looks like a nice stallion and has a wonderful rider in Hap.  I don't consider Advocate in the same category  as Horalas.

Than Horalas was at Lithuania at the same show juming class participated another approved trakehner stallion - Ornamentas and he was the first or second place winner many times with proffessional rider. At 2002 year he with 14 year old child had won golden medal in Juniors games in Moscow. And last year he was jumping in S class and he was 20 year old than.
I think than his son Eolas who is 7 year old now, has ability to jump at this class in the future. Eolas is the champion of Lithuanian Young Horses Championship at 6 year group (130cm. 3 rounds, without penaltys).

Ditto what Maren said.  That's amazing form!  Is he still entire (and approved)?  Would be wonderful to have him in the U.S. some day.

I don't know anything about what it takes to be a really fine jumper--BUT my people put my young two year old stallion into a jump lane with two four foot fences which he cleared at a trot--three times--he made it look so effortless I have no idea what to do with him.  His trot down the long line is exceptional.
