I am sorry.but he died very young,12 months ago I think.Shozld have been an improving sire for the whole breed - as far as I could notice by his very few foals. No wonder if you look how he is bred:international showjumping sire El im cal xx is his sire,Kasaried, one of the best daughters by leading sire Arogno, his dam.Seemed to pass on a lot of athletic and powerful attitudes in movements and overall athletism too.Another young, hopeful and promising sires left us too early.Erhard

El-im-cal xx did an AMAZING performance test - 10 for character, 10 for temperament, 126 for dressage, 138 for jumping, 133 gesamtindex and 3rd out of 37 overall - not bad for a TB!!! He is, as far as I know, standing at stud still.

Kafka's only son ever in NMS was the chestnut Illinois, who was a "definitely approved" on my list, even though a little plain in type, but never made it past the endring. However, the owner kept him intact and he passed a pretty good performance test in 2002. I hope we see him in Leverkusen next spring. Pretty good horse!
