New colt late in September
« on: October 29, 2005, 04:36:02 PM »

I have a new colt out of my imported OSB mare, Lucy Mae, by the Westphalian stallion, Pablo.

Lucy is Messala/Amadeus
          Memelruf/Schwalbenzug
          Kassiber/Ibikus

Her mother line is Libelle 656.

I debated breeding her on her 30-day heat in the last few days but decided to leave her open and start over in the spring if she hasn't been sold by then. She's had two autumn babies in a row now, which is fine here in SoCal.

Great news, Oakstable!

Can you post some pictures of your Pablo colt?  My Westphalian mare had a Pablo filly this year.  I just sold the mare and she left me last week...I am so depressed.  But, her new owners just love her to pieces so it will be a good retirement home for her.

If you have trouble posting pictures, could you send me some via email?  jlkerr2000@yahoo.com

Thanks!

I tried to post photos but the photo size is too big and I don't know how to downsize it for this forum.

Lucy is a very proud mommy. She has always been boarded elsewhere, but now that she is finally here at home, what an incredible temperament!
