What have you found to be a good source of threonine in the equine diet?

TIA

As long as you are feeding a good balanced diet with good quality mixed hay, you shouldn't need additional threonine.

From the label of Nutrena Safe Choice
Guaranteed Analysis (min. amounts except where noted)
Crude Protein 14.0% , Lysine 0.80% , Methionine 0.30%
Threonine min. 0.50% , Crude Fat 7.0% ,
Crude Fiber max. 15.0% , Calcium min. 0.90%-max. 1.20%
Phosphorus 0.75% , Copper 50 ppm , Zinc 160ppm
Selenium 0.6 ppm , Vitamin A 3,500IU/lb
Vitamin D 350 IU/lb , Vitamin E 100 IU/lb , Biotin .45mg/

All these product seems to have  Threonine content http://unitedvetequine.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=UVE&Category_Code=svitsupp

Accel by Farnam (which I feed) has content also
Threonine  0.54%  2,460 mg

And accel lifetime (anti-ox supplement) seems to have even more
Threonine  1.24%  5,627 mg
I feed this product to a horse prone to sarcroids as it has immune system boosters in it.

Hope this helps

Thanks for the help.  Just making certain I have a balanced diet.  Hay this year has been poorer quality.  We are having the second worst drought on record here in Arkansas.  Can't rely on getting much for nutrients there this year.  -- AR is not known for it's high quality soil anyway.  Trying to make certain I have the requirements suggested by KER for our area.

Thanks,
Eileen

Eileen,
the constant struggle for a balanced diet  Grin
I personally use Nutrena and accel and am very happy with the results. I'm also a flax/Boss user although some might think it highly questionable  Roll Eyes
I think we all have our own formulas for success. Good luck in finding yours
