I'm with Suzette . . . where is everybody? I LOVE hearing about good mares who've been to inspections. I'll start the thread for Houston inspection. We're bringing:
1. Hennie (Muenchhausen TSF - EH Rockefeller) for her OSB inspection (photo below)
2. PS Schoene Symphonie (Polarpunkt - EH Tenor) for the mare show.
Who else is coming?

I'm coming to Houston with my mare Encore. She is 3/4 T'bred and 1/4 TK - by a Diplomat Way son, and out of a Bagatelle daughter - that will be going for PSB (finally, after lots of begging/pleading etc LOL). She is the dam of my colt Emerald Impressions.

Twin Gates - I was thinking the same thing about your mare! LOL. And thank you for the compliment - I went back and looked at it again, and to me she looks a little sway backed in the photo (I'm such a perfectionist LOL), but it is from the way she is standing... sigh.

So far there are 4 mares and one stallion paid up for the inspection at the convention. Deadline is August 31st so we will see what happens the rest of this month.
I have 18 mares on my list, people who have contacted me that they will be coming for inspection, so if they also show in the mare show along with the mares that are coming only to show in the mare show, the classes will be VERY interesting.

CONGRATULATIONS to Leonard & Patricia Foley. Their beautiful mare Athaena by E.H. Caprimond was the highest scoring mare at the Iowa inspection achieving the designation of "Model Mare" !
Best of luck to Patricia and Leonard...

The stallion Huno is owned by Lynn Joly, who is a dressage rider from just south of Montreal. He is by Magritte (Van Deyk/Mischka/Donaufürst). An interesting note is that Mischa was the highest selling ATA auction horse of that year in Columbus, Ohio. She was also Reserve Champion of the ATA Mare Show. Many of us sitting in the audience would have loved to take her home.
Huno's mother is an imported mare (by Robin Keonig) High Class by E.H. Ravel out of Hasel ll by Ferlino. I have seen that mare many times, and I would not mind having her in my back yard.
Congratulations to both breeder Jean Lepine, and owner Lynn Joly !

Aerron and I went to the Nipomo, CA inspection. There was an Arabian stallion accepted for breeding. I think his name is Taez, not sure about his lines. There were also some lovely mares presented. Unfortunately I didn't get to see them all since I was scribing (there were 2 inspectors). Both the high point and reserve high point were very nice. We also looked at some of the young horses on Sherry Tourino's farm and I have to say I was impressed with Fandango's offspring! He is definitely worth looking at for breeding!
Looking forward to seeing and meeting many of you in Texas!!
