I'm pleased to annouce the arrival of a black colt by Waitaki out of Pr. St. Zaubermaus. He had a shaky start to life (retained meconium),but after a few days at the University Equine Hosp. both mom and baby are doing fine.

Congratulations! Glad to hear that he pulled through his rough start. Looks like he won't let anything hold him back now

Here is a new photo of "Zauberteufel". The heat and bugs have been terrible here, and when I put them in the riding ring, I basically got 20 + photos of them running flat out. These is the only halfway decent pics.

An up-date on "Zorro". He's small (15.0 1/2 hh) but he sure is cute !

He was gelded because of his small size. His movement is very good.

Omigosh, at 2 years old he has the potential to keep growing for another four years! I had a mare that was 15.2 from age 2 to 5. By the time she was 6, she was over 16 hands.
A friend had a Swedish Warmblood that was around 15 hands until he turned 6 or 7, then grew 4 inches. You just never can tell about these warmbloods.
Personally, I like a smaller size. Bet he'll reach at least 15.2, which is a perfect size (IMO). To look at him, though, you'd never know he had such a shaky start in life.
