:)Well, the day has finally come! I get to announce that the very first ever foal by our stallion was born today~ She is a healthy, happy little girl and loves to drink milk and snuggle her mom. Her name is One Gemini's Fire. She is by Karino's Fire and out of Our Finest Hour xx . She is lovely. Congradulations to Miss Hana Keller of Helenville, WI. on her new prize little darling. Hana is 13 and could barely wait to come home from school and see her precious filly. I hear that if Hana were not recieving many awards today from school, she would have been very tempted to stay home with her little darling. Hana chose to name her One Gemini's Fire, because she had to make a difficult choice early in the pregnancy, you see, this lovely little filly was a twin, and one had to be 'pinched' off, so the other could live, a hard choice for such a young girl, though she and her mom made the choice, and as you can see they have a lovely little filly today.
How neat that she was a twin, is born in June (Gemini) and her dam's barn name is "Gem". She is special and I cannot tell you how special it was for me to see this little princess today, here she is, without further addo; at just a few hours old....

Thank you, we are so completely happy to see such a beautiful healthy baby girl. It has been a long journey, as we have had our (yes, chestnut ) stallion since he was a weanling, acctually purchased him pre-weaning from Dr. Barbara Weber of WI.
One Gemini's Fire has a refined head, intelligent look, soft eye, gentle/kind spirit, long stride and an already uphill way of moving. She seems to have an uphill and lovely canter. We couldn't be more pleased.

Karino's Fire really does stamp his babies. There is no doubt who daddy is. They are all beautiful.

Thanks for noticing, we have been so happy that he *stamps* his babies too, speaking of *Happy*, this yearling's owners are considering Happy Hour for this filly when she is old enough to breed. I think it will be a great pairing. & am sure "Hour" will be in the name, as it is in Sophie's momma's name too, "Our Finest Hour xx" We told them he'd be a great pick for her, we had considered him for
our Trakehner mare, though Happy & Ella are too closely related
