Impressionist baby born...

So was over at Joe Pimental's the other day and took some pics of one of the latest of his babies born this year.  This little filly is out of a 1/2 Paint-1/2 Saddlebred mare and is by Impressionist.  She is about 36 hours old in the photo and is VERY SASSY - she definetly thinks that she is "something"! I should note too - excuse the mud.  The panhandle has been inundated with rain the past couple of weeks.  Several communities have been flooded out - it wasn't uncommon to get over an inch in an hour!  They are saying that we aren't supposed to have rain for the rest of the week so we are hoping that we can dry out!

LOVE that last photo.  She looks like she's sassy . . .  very brave to come right up to the photographer.

Did anyone notice the markings on his flank and belly match his mom's?  The pattern is almost exact!
