Performance Matters!

Hennie gave birth to a gorgeous black/brown colt last night with no markings other than a 1/2 pastern on his right hind.
She gave us a bit of a scare as this began with a placenta previa which could have been disastrous for both. It turned out ok and mom & baby are now doing well. Because of his narrow escape, we've named him Harry Houdini.

Thanks Mary. Knowing Helca's foal is sired by Cadeau, I can't WAIT to see her baby.
This mare line is SO good; each of Henriette's daughters just keeps producing exceptional foals. You have an exquisite suprise in store; take very good care of her!

I LOVE Trakehners!

He is a handsome guy! We love bays around here at Wolftrak Farm. That is all we have, with the exception of my Shire filly, who is grey.
We are still waiting on our last one, "due" March 19th.

Thanks for all your nice comments. We're having a ball watching Sam and Harry. Poor little Harry looks so small next to Sam, but he's determined to catch (mom is frustrated w/his apparent lack of concern over her attempts to herd him back into the stall when he scampers out into their run hoping for a glimpse of Sam!)
Safe foaling to everyone still waiting & hope you have as much fun w/them as we are! One more of "Harry the Curious"!

Taz is just producing some fantastic foals.
OK now that we have two colts on the ground will the third be the charm? Lighting incense, chanting trying to produce a filly from Sommer. Of course a beautiful, healthy colt would be OK with me.

Harry & mom are now sharing a paddock with Sam and Symphonie. My husband was out w/the camera today and got the most wonderful shot of Hennie cuddling her baby.
