The free horse mentioned - Vis a Vis - seems like he's probably just hot. In pro training (instead of having owner ride him Novice), says "Advanced Rider Recommended."

You can see his USEA record here: http://useventing.com/competitions/prof ... _id=126004

Last event was Difficult Run in August 2011 at Novice, then one at BN in July. There is a gap in 2010 and then some stuff from 2008 and 2009.

Eta: after some snooping, found out he had a 24 in his 2011 OBN test, and a 27.5 in his Novice 2011 test. Nice scores!

Visa is a very sweet horse that I've owned since 2009. Unfortunately, I bought him right before I went to college and his training fell by the wayside until last year when I sent him to the pros. He's been successful in eventing, scoring in the 20s in dressage at Novice. He has schooled up to 3'6" without issue as well. He is talented but is not an easy ride when in full work, so I'd like to see him go to an advanced rider or someone working with a knowledgable trainer. He has not been ridden since December and I'm not able to put him back into work because I'm too busy with school, which is why I'm giving him away at this point. He is going to need reschooling, I'm sure, so it's going to take some time, but once he is back in top form he is pretty fun. V has been sound and without any health issues in the time that I own him, so he comes without maintenance, just a bit of blubber. He doesn't have any vices and is good with other horses. I've always had him shod all around so I'm not sure of he would have issues being barefoot. Again he hasn't been in work for quite a while so I'm sure there is potential for bucking, but he does not do that when he is in regular work.
