Trakehner Treffpunkt - Trakehner Meeting Place  |  Borderline Classified  |  Horses in need of homes - Trakehners, free or ...  |  Topic: Posting guidelines - read first 0 Members and 2 Guests are viewing this topic. « previous next » Pages: 1 Author Topic: Posting guidelines - read first  (Read 1452 times) Boss Mare Administrator FEI Offline Posts: 127 Posting guidelines - read first « on: December 10, 2004, 08:38:35 AM » Another new category--but again, in the interest of preserving the non-advertising policy of these forums I am asking that the following rules be adhered to: 1) This category is intended to help homeless Trakehners find new places.  THIS IS NOT A CLASSIFIED BOARD.   As a reminder, classifieds are offered in a separate area of Trakehner Treffpunkt (see link in the navigation bar at the top of the forums) and proceeds from such advertising support the operation of the forums. 2) The qualifying horse as a subject for a post here is a Trakehner or part-Trakehner and is free or cheap (let's say, a maximum of $3K for most horses, though I may decide that "cheap" is less for particular horses). The limit is low on PURPOSE.  This is not intended to become a place to buy and sell cheap horses.  It is intended to help place "homeless" Trakehners. 3) "Horse Wanted" posts are not permitted. 4) Keep your post short and to the point, 1 post per horse.  If you need to include more information, modify your original post. If you need to provide lengthy information on it, attach that information to your post as a text file. You may include your contact information (phone, address, email) or the contact information for the horse's owner. 5)  No replies to posts are permitted here.  If you want to inquire about a horse, email or P.M. the poster or contact the owner directly.  There will be no exceptions. I will have sole discretion in determining whether a post meets the criteria, including determination of whether the horse satisfies the maximum value requirement (which may be less than the $3K limit in certain circumstances).   I WILL REMOVE POSTS THAT DO NOT MEET THE ABOVE TERMS.
