"Freudenfest" is multiple winner in riding-, jumping- and dressage-competitions for young horses.
His offspring has a good tallness with a well-proportioned, light neck. They are all very correct and noble. You'll find an excellent walk, an enormous canter and a cadenced trot with a lot of action. His offspring was successful on shows several times!

Pedigree:
His sire "Tolstoi", is premium stallion at Neumünster, his breeding value amounts dressage 114 points, conformation 154 points. He is sire of four sons (two champions, one premium-stallion) as well as several premium mares.
His dam elite-mare "Tugend", is a daughter of the Anglo-Araber "Burnus" known as a really successful eventer ridden by Dr. R. Klimke in former times.
She is also dam of "Topas" by "Marlon" as well as "Trenk IV" "Tiflis" "Tiffany", "Täbris" (all successful show-jumpers!) and "Toleranz" (participant of the eventing-championships in Holland!). Her daughters "Turandot" and "Titania" brought the sires "Turnus" and "Tycoon".
You'll find five sires in the pedigree of "Tolstoi" who are successful up to advanced level in dressage: "Kostolany", "Enrico Caruso", "Falke", "Ibikus" and "Hertilas".
Dam "Freundin", a daughter by champion "Amadeus", brought two champions in Neumünster. This is inimitable in the Trakehner breed by now!
She is half-sister to "Freudenfest" (price-hit at Medingen-Sales 1992!).
Third dam "Friedericke" is a full-sister to the famous sire "Flaneur".

Freudenfest is the full brother to the 1996 champion stallion, Farinelli. Totally different in appearance, he certainly attracted quite a crowd of breeders in his first years. He is truly beautiful, as Namur said, but also the "long" type, with a long back (not my taste at all). A very balanced mover, I've seen more impressive champions, quite frankly. Farinelli is about the only one of the big Tolstoi-group that really is doing the big thing competition-wise. He is currently showing FEI level dressage and doing very well. Tolstoi is one of our leading sires in terms of mare inspection scores. But his get certainly are missing in the big comeptition world, he did have a lot of chances in breeding, it's time now to see some saddle-proof!!
