I LOVE Trakehners!

Hey, Great forum! Only trouble is that it seems to be in some kind of odd foreign language? And the only part that is easy to understand is the graphic porn link up top in flashing lights. Does that violate Ingrid's proscription of sexually-oriented material on this forum? Just wondering.

Hey, Tim, you found us!
Golly, when you said "great forum" I lost my head and thought you were talking about this one!
Apparently you are referring to Namur's email group, and leave it to you to get the random pornographic banner! I have checked twice and not been so favored. Looks interesting, but it is all "GreeK" to me. Good luck to Namur, and welcome aboard.

Yep, Maren put me on to you. Scott's site is semi-kaput, I guess. Wow, that Tanzdiva has a face that could launch a thousand ships!

Hey Tim, welcome!!! Great you found it.
Talking about Tanzdiva, I saw a video of her, and LOVED her!! That's really one terrific Trakehner mare. Impressionist, if I'm not mistaken.
Ingrid: are you by any chance coming to the ATA meeting in FL? Would be nice to finally meet after all the emails back and forth.

Thanks Tim! Diva's mama is one of the girls that is supposed to be making a Windfoal...
And Maren, thanks also. I won't be making it to FL, it is too hard to get away from the farm. However, my mother (partner in crime) and my sister are going to Neumuenster (while I farm sit...). I was actually going to write to see if the American crew plans to rendevous anywhere with you...

I guess I'll carry a sign around my neck "I'm Maren, are you from the US?"
I'm teaming up with friends from CA and Canada, everybody else is invited to come along. Most of the time, you can find me in the press booth right above the main arena entrance. Step in and ask for me. Ingrid: tell your mom and sis to stop by, I'd really love to meet them.
Tim: can't you skip Fair Hill once and make it over here? You know, next year when it's (hopefully) Verdi's time, you'll have to do that
I would stick to the name "Windfoal", that's a pretty cool name........

Maren, Miss Fair Hill? come on... Would you? This is Windfall's big chance. He has just taken third place in the USEA National Advanced Level Championships (behind Giltedge and Winsome Adante), won the CIC** at Stuart Horse Trials, and is feeling absolutely perfect. With Missy Ransenhousen working him while Darren is away at the World Games, I hope to find him in ideal condition by late October. The real scheduling problem is being gone right before the ATA meeting, when I have all the awards work to do..... For those who wonder what the Verdi talk is about, Maren and I have a mare in Germany who produced an exceptional colt by Monteverdi a year and a half ago. We are not-so-secretly dreaming of a Koerung appearance for him next year. Watch for Baron Verdi - the supercolt! Tim

Oh yes, supercolt is about he right name
I'm pretty much in love with him and it is hard to judge him objectively.
But in any case, NEXT year you'll have to skip Fair Hill, after Windfall is winning it this year, why return the next ?
